Cleaning
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with a down-specific or technical wash. Close all zippers and hook-and-loop tabs before washing. Use front-loading machines only — top-loaders with agitators can damage the construction.
Drying
Tumble dry low with two or three clean tennis balls or dryer balls for 2–3 full cycles to fully restore down loft AND reactivate the DRYVENT™ DWR finish. Skipping the heat dry will cause the down to clump and the shell to wet out faster.
Reproofing
When water no longer beads on the face fabric, apply a spray-on DWR treatment (such as Nikwax TX.Direct or Granger's Performance Repel) and re-tumble dry low to reactivate.
Storage
Store clean and dry, hanging or loosely folded. Avoid long-term compression in stuff sacks — reduces down loft and can damage the DRYVENT™ membrane seam tape.
What to avoid
Do not bleach, iron, dry clean, or use fabric softener. Harsh solvents and heat degrade the DRYVENT™ membrane, DWR finish, and down loft.
